My stay at Blackcomb Springs was excellent! The staff were all so kind and accommodating. While it was just my husband and I that stayed, we kept commenting on how easy it would have been to take our kids as the room was spacious and kid friendly. I felt like every little detail was taken care of, complementary robes and pool towels, pots, pans, dishes, even salt and pepper in the kitchen. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, but there were a couple of areas that could be improved. First, I was surprised that there was no frying pan in the kitchen. Since the room included a kitchen, I expected basic cookware to be provided, and this made cooking a bit difficult. I was also a little disappointed with the pool. Hotel conditions were excellent. There is no breakfast provided, but there is a restaurant (although I didn't visit it). The room is actually a one-bedroom apartment, complete with full kitchen and balcony. Two TVs, one in the living and one in the bedroom. Note that it has an exterior pool with hot tub The only con is the parking: there is a parking in the basement, but it is not free; it costs 25 per night, or you can try parking on the street (not near the hotel, due to low visibility on the road). What We Loved: The Location & Shuttle: Having a free bus shuttle right to the village made exploring completely effortless. No driving or parking stress for the family! The Pool & Hot Tub Area: This was the absolute highlight of the trip. The entire pool and hot tub area is completely surrounded by beautiful trees, making it feel like a private forest sanctuary. Everything was perfect! We loved our beautiful room, the underground parking, the bus service right outside the door. Best of all was the super friendly and helpful service from everyone who works there! Top notch! (This was our 1st time visiting Whistler and we'd stay here again in a heart beat!). Highly recommend!
