I had my teeth cleaned today and was pleased. Staff very nice and Dr. Chiang was personable. I had plaque/tartar removed and a polish, floss and fluoride. Total cost was 38% higher than my previous dentist for the same services so I was a bit shocked. I don’t have insurance I pay their standard usual and customary fees. If you have the benefit of dental insurance this may not be an issue or concern for you. The staff showed a video about a high tech probe to look for dental decay below the tooth so you could take measures to avoid future problems if something detected. They did not do this procedure on me. I was not offered it either. Perhaps I didn’t need it? Not sure, but the video was intriguing. I can’t afford cleaning every 4 months as he recommended but I will return but on an annual basis.
