Ne vous laissez pas impressioner par tous ces commentaires. Orthodontiste a eviter. Pas si competent, plusieurs avis des autres orthodontistes ont remis en question son travail dans la bouche de ma fille. Il a fait un faux diagnostique. Nous avons du debourser un autre traitement. A EVITER!!!
Je suis en traitement depuis 4 ans et c est la pire decision que jai prise de voir cet orthodontiste. A fait plusieurs problemes de gencive et dentaire dans ma bouche qui sont ireparables. Jai consulte plusieurs de ses collegues et ils sont d avis que son traitement est un echec total. Le pire incompetent, arrogant et il veut juste votre argent. I saw Dr. Korne for a consultation a few months ago. I was an international student new to Canada, he was the first orthodontist I went to. His consultation looked excellent at the beginning but thank god I didn't rush into making a decision, instead, I went for two other orthodontists. Both of them quoted much cheaper prices than Dr. Korne and were apparently more accommodating in scheduling my appointments. L'equipe du Dr Korne est sensationnele! Les gens sont professionnels et toujours accueillant. Dr Korne est toujours a l'ecoute et passioné. Il a accepté de voir notre enfant en urgence pendant les vacances de noel! On peut compter sur lui. Bravo a tous.
Dr. Korne is a businessman. His very well appointed office is impressive to some, but it is not what is most important. He is cold and aloof. In the 4 years that my daughter was treated by Dr. Korne, he actually looked in her mouth for no more than 10 minutes TOTAL. His staff do all of the work and he comes for a quick glance on occasion. After 4 years of preparatory treatment, he didn't even have courtesy to join us and the coordinator for the detailed discussion surrounding the treatment and cost for my daughter's braces. ... read more
The comment below that says Dr. Korne leans heavily on aggressive sales techniques, after which he doesn't care, is so true. I wish i had done my homework before i went to him, and been less niave. I was new to Montreal, a bit overwhelmed with settling in; I got such a slick sell job, combined with a huge scare away from even consulting anyone else, that even though i knew it was more than i should be paying, i signed. We had an initial evaluation for my two children, and it was very disappointing. Dr. Korne presented a highly produced introduction to the clinic with bells and whistles for the kids, followed by a glossy "personal" diagnosis and estimate. The script for the show obviously included a quick on-the-spot signing of an outlandishly priced service contract (we've since compared elsewhere). Dr Korne and his staff are extremely condescending. His business uses very aggressive sales tactics to get you to sign a contract on the spot. As mentioned by other reviewers, after your contract is done he doesn't really care much about your treatment. Avoid.
Although this orthodontist is located in a very nice neighbourhood and has excellent facilities, it operates more as a business attempting to generate profit than as a business providing life-altering services for its clients (and yes, I do believe one's teeth are life-altering). The staff will be exceedingly accommodating and friendly before you actually pay, but once you do, they become much less so.
