She didn't take the time to discuss anything with me and it appeared that she wasn't interested.
Had a wisdom tooth extraction and a root canal with Dr. Reynolds. Did not have any problems or discomfort. She is professional and friendly and really lets you know what is going on/what she is doing during the appointment - would recommend.
Dr. Jill is wonderful. As a relatively new dentist she is very skilled at dental procedures. Friendly, compassionate, knowledgable and eager to learn all describe her geniune approach to her patients. Would highly recommend her as a dentist
The reason for my fear of dentists. I hadn’t been in for a dental cleaning in a few years, and I was shamed like a misbehaving child by the hygienist. Dr Reynolds later insisted I needed 5-6 fillings, and did very poor and rough work, which later needed to be corrected by another dentist. I just don’t get all the positive reviews - I would never return to Bedford South Dentistry.
Found an issue that no one else could diagnose. Issue resolved. Pain is gone.
jillian reynolds and her office encourages their dental hygienists to diagnose ailments. I come from a medical background and this is considered unprofessional behaviour. I believe that the team there is setting you up for more work than is needed. I have a great health plan and there team sees that. This group is out for your money so be ware.
Dr.Jill seemed like she didn't know I was in the room while she talked to her assistant and told the assistant what she would recommend doing for me. She was quick and speedy and I felt like very rude. When she left the room, her assistant seemed embarrassed to have to tell me what was just said right behind my back. She said "I guess you heard that right". I don't understand why Dr. Jill could not have just told me herself that she wanted to take out my wisdom teeth. She constantly left me at the chair while she'd go off and have chats with colleagues.Besides that, i had the WORST wisdom tooth extraction episode. She overdosed me on the freezing (which may be nice for the moment), but also recommended i take BOTH ibuprofen AND TYLENOL 3 at the same time which is a dangerous combination. As soon as i woke up next morning (as it was an evening apponitment the day before) I Hit the floor and was out for well over 5 mins. I got dry socket a day later.
