Whilst she is a competent doctor, she runs a terrible office. She overbooks and patients end up waiting for over an hour past their appointment time to be seen. The office is un professional as assistants will argue in front of patients. It is overall an unpleasant experience! We would have left but both children were halfway through their braces. If it had happened once that is understandable but EVERY appointment was the same experience. She has a complete disregard for other people’s time.
Always have to wait even you are there early or on time. Staff is not very helpful.
Repeated broken retainers meant multiple visits. Felt like devices were lowest quality. Also very frustrating waiting 30+ minutes in wait room, then another 10-15 in chair waiting for appointment to begin. Wish we’d read these reviews before choosing this orthodontist - we do not recommend.
Dr Loo is knowledgeable and does good work however the experience is incredibly unpleasant. As someone who has been going to this office for many years, I would most certainly encourage people to go elsewhere. Why? She overbooks, making clients wait 30+ minutes than what is necessary and seems very rushed to get on to the next patient once she does stop to see you. Her staff are often rude, especially the receptionists who act as if we are an inconvenience to them during any interaction, talk about snobby!
I am an adult who got braces at Dr. Loo's office. She is competent BUT takes too many patients resulting in rushed, low-quality services. I had to return 5-6 times for emergency visits when part of braces fall off / break off prematurely. My treatment was prolonged for 1/2 year. Other reviewers are right about her office being an assembly line. Be prepared to wait and wait when you see her. I am satisfied with teeth at the end of the treatment but the process wasn't fun.
Dr. Loo is always rushed and late. She speaks so fast that it is hard to understand what she is saying.
Dr. Loo is great. She is knowledgable and professional. She did an excellent job on my teeth over 15 years ago and I still get complements to this day. I was in for recent work and she was spectacular. Her practice is very busy and she is also very busy. I will say that her receptionist are tragic. They are rude, unfriendly and not accomodating at all. She may need to revamp this aspect of her practice to appease clients.
Never get an appointment before a school or work day. It has about a 25 percent chance of starting 30 min late making you late for your next activity.. It is very hard to listen to her because she talks so fast. If you ask how long your treatment will be it will always be off by months. She does have lots of confidence tho and it seemes she knows a lot. I would not recemend her at all.
I would not recommend Dr. Loo. She may be very nice and qualified, but its an assembly line in there. She gets as many patients in as possible, without providing personal attention, information or feedback. The kids wait forever and then are quickly seen on their own and sent on their way. No conversation with the parents! We show up for appointments not even knowing what the appointment is for. No child likes to be surprised by having to do a mold when their parent isn't even in the room with them. My child has come out fig... read more
