I've had an incredible experience with Dr. Hallett and his amazing staff. I always feel like family coming in for any of my appointments. I am on the tail end of Invisalign and would highly recommend seeing Dr. Hallett if you've been interested in the alternative to braces. It took less than a year and my teeth are beauty!
I was passing through town on Labor Day with a deadly painful abscess. Based on the reviews here, I called first thing Tuesday morning and was given a slot an hour later. After I arrived, I had barely finished the new-patient form when the tech (Belinda?) called me to the examination room for an x-ray. The doctor appeared after maybe three minutes and affably explained what he saw on the x-ray and the treatment options. Always pleasant experience to see Dr. Hallett and his dental hygienist and front desk staff. I actually changed from my old dentist in West Kelowna after being referred to Dr. Hallett for something a few years ago and have never looked back. He has always explained everything to me and always made me feel comfortable on every visit. Wonderful dentist.
This is my third visit. All staff is so friendly and nice as always. All the equipment and facility is great. I am specially impressed by the TV on the ceiling so that the patient doesn't focus on the painful drilling sound and the glass for the patient to protect from water splashing. The Dr.did a great job on my teeth and so kind and thoughtful during treatment. My teeth feel very comfortable after treatment(filling the cavity). Best experience I have ever had in the dentist's chair. I was in for 1 1/2 hours and it seemed like 10 minutes. Doc has the latest in equipment (no stupid dam in my mouth with molar clamps). Ceiling mounted TV's with headphones. Brand new equipment/decor in a brand new building. Smiling staff and assistants as well. Seems everyone is happy there, and it rubs off. Very comfortable setting, from the waiting area to the examination room. The whole process of check-in and examination was very high-tech, yet practical, which enhanced the experience. I received helpful consultation, information and care while there. As much as a dentist's office can be a good experience, this was! Thanks so much!
I have been going to Discover Dental since I moved to Kelowna and have been highly satisfied on every visit. I have recommended some of my family to go there, as well. Dr. Hallet, Krista, Jesse, and Belinda have always been helpful when I have called or been in for an appointment. I can remember having my top wisdom teeth removed and being quite nervous, starting to sweat as I am not a fan of needles. I started to feel lightheaded.
