The very sad truth is that this is all true. I have nothing to gain by writing this, I have left that clinic and currently work at a clinic where I sometimes have to pinch myself to make sure I am not dreaming. Our doctors are so HONEST, kind, appreciative of our hard work, when they say they will do something, they deliver. No LIES, no dangling carrots in front of your face, no negativity, no GREED. By far the worst clinic to work for, this woman Shelly Kassam is extremely greedy, lies to her staff about "taking care of them", empty promises about their bonuses and so called "perks". Lies. Greed. Knowing this industry inside out she's by far the worst to work for. Pushing treatments people don't even need, so embarrassing and pathetic. Why would anyone work for her? Other doctors acknowledge their staff, treat them like gold but not at Yaletown laser and dental. Run ladies run.

Dr.Shelly is always running late and seems very fake. She wants you to spend lots of money on her substandard overpriced services.

Dr. Shelly is rude, unprofessional and doesn't give good results...it seems like she doesn't know what she is doing and she is WAY over-priced. Don't be fooled by the fancy clinic...do not go see Shelly for anything.

I have worked in the skin rejuvenation industry for years and my experience with Shelly Kassam was brutal. Her staff was nice and the clinic looks great, but Shelly Kassam is a terrible injector. I was very specific about what I wanted and she was pushy about her "technique" and once the swelling was had gone down, it was uneven, and lumpy. I called to make a follow up appt and when I say her again she said it was my imagination!? She would not fix the issue and was extremely rude in the process. This is by the far the worst cosmetic office i have ever been to. Its no wonder that the bad comments on here have been removed, perhaps its because she is really just that bad. The technicians claim to be "senior" when they have only worked there for 2 years, the consultation process is terrible.. she tried to sell me everything under the sun including getting my teeth fixed? i came for a botox consult and you want me to spend $3,000 on my teeth? She is a great person as all is said above, but she is not a great injector or dentist for that matter. Being a nice intuitive person does not give one clinical skills. clearly

The Botox injections I received from Shelly Kassam were truly unsatisfactory. One side of my forehead only partially worked. This after she used 80 units and took nearly an hour to perform this work that usually takes 15 to 30 minutes. This was my 5th time I had injections in this area and had in the past had no problems, until this first time when administered by S. Kassam.
