I started seeing Dr. Alex in November of 2014, to sort out long term jaw pain that was quickly traced to a tooth that wasn't even hurting. I have had dental anxiety all my life and it was so bad that I actually stopped going to the dentist and avoided them all together. The team at In Harmony Dental changed all that for me. I came to them with an abscess that required a root canal - not the best news for someone like me. Kate and her therapy dogs worked with me to relieve that anxiety and I when it was time for my root canal I found that I was relaxed in the chair and at ease with the procedure. I was referred to Dr. Alex by my girlfriend and I'm so happy I switched dentists! Dr. Alex provides great care and the staff at his office are welcoming and friendly. I've had filling and cleaning appointments and all have gone very smoothly.
When I first came to In Harmony dental, I was definitely not "in harmony". Thank you so much for an awesome visit. Was anxious until the moment I walked through your doors. Everyone was so friendly...the nerves melted away instantly. I was a huge fan of my dentist back in Ontario so he was going to be hard to replace. But don't tell him, I think you topped the chart. Where have you been all my life?! Had a very good experience today because the dentist used the pre-freeze (POP!) before the needle. It worked! I covered my ears with my fingers, (not that its that loud) after I put the earphones on to listen to the cooking channel and said "just do it! I don't want to know when you are putting the needle in." It was over before I knew it and wow!, a whole new dental experience. I highly recommend it!!! Dr. Darrach-Cottick is very kind and patient. I'm glad I stumbled upon InHarmony
Especially happy with the results, which is most important!
